The History of the Muir Woods Park VFD, story coming.

We recently learned about this VFD that existed prior to the Marin County FD taking over protection for the Muir Woods Park region in the Throckmorton Ridge and Muir Woods areas above Mill Valley. According to retired Marin County FD Captain and Historian Pete Martin, the department was a group without a fire engine that supplied manpower to the local Tamalpais Forest Fire District Warden when needed. We are seeking more information.
