The Marin County Fire Chiefs Association (MCFCA), started in the late 1950's, and officially formed in 1964. Became the successor to the Marin County Association of Fire Departments. It appears that the MCAFD's continued to exist into the 1970's for social events and a few other activities, but unfortunately we have yet to locate any records other than occasional mention in short newspaper clips.
