Harold "Spike" Drady Passed away on October 30, 2016 at Petaluma Valley Hospital after a long illness. Spike was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1940, raised in Fairfax and graduated from Sir Francis Drake HS in 1958. He lived in Nicasio for 48 years before moving to Petaluma last year. Retiring from the California Highway Patrol in 1981, he opened a Private Investigator business and was an active member of the Nicasio Volunteer Fire Department.
Spike is survived by his wife, Katherine and children Dorothy Drady (Peter Casartelli) of Nicasio, Anthony Drady (Julie Tingle) of Napa and Angela Hall (Cliff) of Seattle. Granddaughters Nicole Casartelli and Alexandra Hall. Sisters Joan Jennings of Loyalton, CA, Kathleen Swigard of Tahoe City and Patricia Brunanchon of Paso Robles and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Evelyn Drady and siblings George Drady, Carol Hughes and Michael Drady.
